Blacktown Conference is a key annual event that highlights contemporary issues impacting on local communities and the human services sector.
Blacktown City Council, along with its partners, Community Resource Network and SydWest Multicultural Services, have planned a number of exciting guest speakers who will help lead the discussion around this year’s theme:
“Blacktown…a place to call home.”
More than 335,000 people from 177 countries around the world call Blacktown City their ‘home’. Over the next twenty years an extra 150,000 will call Blacktown home. How welcoming will we be?
The conference aims to explore the role of home in Australian society and the ways we, as local community workers and service providers, contribute to the creation of a home for all.
The Conference will be held at Blacktown Workers Club on 14 July 2016 from 9:00am – 3:30pm.
