The 2015-2016 Annual Report for Community Resource Network (CRN) is available to view or download.
Over the Last 12 months CRN has continued to support organisations and communities in the local government areas of Blacktown, The Hills and surrounding parts of Western Sydney in a time of reform and transition across the sector.
Many organisations have been experiencing change due to recent program reforms and shifts in funding. This change has affected local services, however CRN believes that, as long as this change is directed toward better client outcomes then, as we have done in the community sector for many years, we will adapt.
As a sub-regional peak body, CRN has played a key role in strengthening the local community sector as it has faced new challenges and opportunities. We have done this through our core work of representation, capacity building, connection and information & resources. Our Annual Report outlines some of the highlights for the year in these four areas, along with a info-graphic capturing a snapshot of what we did in 2015-2016.
We would like to thank the support of our members, local organisations, all levels of government and individuals who partner with CRN. In particular, we acknowledge the valued contribution of our funders in 2015-2016:
